that is a tough one as to will you have your fresh water tank full, waste tank, plus with the machine tapped into the main fuel line, it will vary so much due to how long you are running the machine etc, somone on here may be able to give you a real rough estimate, my unit is mounted in a trailer otherwise I would try to give you an estimate.

If you wanna go to the expense of doing this. You can switch over your van to a 2 barrel carb. This works really really well for PTO driven units. You will have to sacrifice a bit of horse power. But you can expect to use .8 gallons an hour running your PTO unit.

That only works on old church buses, a 2004-5 Chev is multiport fuel injection. I haven't done it yet, but I plan on adding a cat back exhaust and cold air intake on my 09 van to help with fuel economy while operating the cds.

From what I've gathered, a 27/47 TM will burn about 1.5 gph (liquid cooled). The big TMs are all fuel injected and run at a slower speed, which makes them much more efficient. My distributor has told me 1.2-1.5 gph on the Titan (and he's not one to BS)

2003 Chevy 3500 ext. 6.0 v-8 9 mpg city 14 mpg highway. 120 gallon fresh tank, hose reels, and PC 405 with tools. We have 10% ethanol fuel now (thank you Mr. Government) and mileage has suffered badly. My wifes minivan went from 18 to 15 mpg after the switch. My PC Performer 405 with it's Nissan 32 hp engine burns 1 gph.

Supposedly, loaded or not is not suppose to make a huge difference in gas mileage do to momentum of the weight, needs less power to keep it going ...

I imagine it makes a huge difference stop and go city driving tho...
