Sorry, don't have any advice, but wish you the best of luck with your rug cleaning business.

Do you have a rug badger or other dusting system?

It would be great if you could share some photos of your rug cleaning area, including your pit.

OSR is not Wool Safe. It can remove color!

Bridgepoint's TCU Neutralizer is good for soaking prior to cleaning to remove urine. Be sure to check for colorfastness in the urine damaged area.

A new product - Wool Medic will be released the first week in November. It will neutralize urine and offer several other advantages for soaking or pretreatment of wool and other natural fibers.

I have to agree with Scott. If I were washing that rug I would use TCU Neutralizer. I got a look at their new rug chemicals at Connections in Vegas and they look very impressive. When you are working on Urine the combination of Hard and Soft Acids combined with the solvents in TCU you end up saving time and money with less chance of making a mess of the rug. Remember if it smells of Urine there is a real danger of bleeding so the right product makes a difference.
I also like ChemMax’s Urine Pretreatment but that is a little advanced for brand new pit washers.
    Best wishes,

Like Scot said - NO OSR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or it will end up on your floor as you will have bought it.
Unless it is a cheap olefin rug - then OSR away.
