What music do y'all listen to? My top ten bands/groups/artists in no particular order, except for numero uno: CLUTCH 10 2 Skinnee J's (hilarious) 9 Rage Against the Machine (check out One Day as a Lion if you like Rage) 8 Beastie Boys (need no description) 7 White Stripes (way underrated) 6 Metallica (OMG, like, the best band ever LOL) 5 Black Keys (lots of noise from 2 guys) 4 Cat Empire (fun freaking band, and very talented) 3 Fu Manch (super cool stoner rock) 2 Led Zeppelin (just bow down) 1 Clutch (Not the old people band from MI, the gut stomping a--kickers from Maryland)
1. Led Zep 2. Pink Floyd 3. Black Sabbath 4. Aerosmith 5. Lynard Skynard 6. Van Halen 7. Jimi Hendricks 8. Queen 9. Cream Joe
Is that a band? I'll check it out. Being from down under, Mick, have you heard of the Cat Empire? They are Aussies and a great band!
No, but when you said Cat Empire i immediately thought of the Gay and lesbian Mardi Gras. Maybe its the wrong kinda cats? Mick :joke:
Nah, they are not playing for both teams. Half of their songs are about hot women. Unless the band members actually are women who look like men. :burnout:
I'll give my favorites and a comment.... 1) Metallica: I grew up in the Bay Area listening since they were a club band in '84 2) Black Sabbath: The masters of metal 3) Pink Floyd: David Gilmore's playing is soulful and Roger Waters is a genius 4) Kiss: Gene Simmons invented the BLUMPKIN 5) The Who: Keith Moon, absolutley brilliant drummer 6) Pantera: Whata shame what happened to Dimebag 7) Alice In Chains: Jerry Cantrell 8) Rage Against The Machine: Hate their screwed messages but love the aggression 9) Red Hot Chili Peppers: FLEA!!! FRUCIANTE!! 10) Papa Roach: BECAUSE THEY ARE GREAT CUSTOMERS!!!!
