I have built my last two Truck Mounts and am now able to buy a new machine. I was going to build a monster with at least a #56 Blower but I have very little time anymore. Looks like the El Diablo is the best value and should work fine as a single wand machine. Any thing negative about this unit that I am over looking and what is the best price and place to pick one up? Also is there any news of Master Blend building or desinging a larger unit in the near future? I have a Tuthill 4005 Blower now and really wanted more suction to help dry the carpets faster. I only use a RotoVac which can take up to 16 hours to dry here in South Texas.

I have personally tested the El Diablo a couple times, not enough for many testings but it is good for dual wand.

From what I understand the kunkle valve allows the smaller blower to act like a much larger unit...but I would assume that is from a lift perspective and not "flow". Sounds to me like you need more flow with the Rotovac to speed drying times.

The El-D has my attention for sure being that I'm a Steamway guy.

I'll probably head that route for the next machine. Nothing like an oil burner for heat...nothing.

I own a El Diablo and have had several different units over my twenty five years. It is without a doubt a fantastic machine. Easy to get to if you need maintenance. Great heat and has fine dual wand capability. Could not ask for a better truck mount and the guys at MasterBlend can answer any of your questions and have great customer service. You will not go wrong. Mark or Brent at MasterBlend 1-800-525-9644

Thanks for all the input I really like the fact that it uses 115volt generator rather than 12volt which has been alot of trouble in the past. I do wish it used a Kohler water cooled engine with a General pump and at least a 47 blower that would be perfect. Maybe I should start building these custom order like Dell does computers, you pick and choose the componets and brands that you want and they mass produce them and keep the cost down. Anyway so much to do so little time.

I also own a El Diablo. Great heat and can dual wand with two #6 flow wands. You can dual wand if one is a Greenhorn (too much flow) but not as well. Great unit for the price. Got 110 hrs. on mine so far and still loving it. Great service from Masterblend, Brent and Doug are two knowledgeable guys. Tommy, could you e-mail me your phone number. raymoody@charter.net Thanks
