i've been using a system very similar to the ramair for over 25yrs, and yes, it works well.
not in all hvac systems, but most.
its another "tool" for the arsenal so to speak!

Well I could say something about this subject, but because I sell a competitive system to this one I will abstain from this discussion.

it is a system i put together, based on all the different methods i've used so it has no name! for me its the best of all worlds.

one of the machines i use i built. it is modeled after the grossly over priced rotobrush but has 3x's the vacuum power at 500cfm. on this machine, i can use either 2" hose or 4" hose. when i use the 4" hose, i adapt a vacuum booster, and bring the cfm's to 1200.

i also use abatement technologies PPV's. these machines range in cfm's from 2000 up to 3000.
i've modified the smaller one i have which is the H-2200 to accept the vacuum booster i mentioned above.
all vacuums are hepa filtered, as is the shop vac(s) i use.

i use drive cables from nikro, air care, and cleanducts.com
with both the propellar straps and the nylon whisk brushes.

hoses range in size from 2" up to 12".

dewalt electric compressors, with air lines, guns and hoses from harbor freight.

i mix and match the different pieces of equipment according to the job at hand.

the ramair system does have some merit but you'll need much more than that to tackle air duct cleaning.
the other fellow that posted is right about it being over priced.

jmathis, if you took it out, looked at it and put it back in the box, then of course it's not going to be making you any money.
It needs to be put to use.
There are hundreds of cleaners across the country making money hand over fist with the RamAir System.

It's so simple and easy to use, effective, and it allows the homeowner to watch all the debris as it's being removed from their ducts.

Don't let it's simplicity detour you from using it!
Just because it doesn't have a bunch of clumbsy brushes, cables that bind and motors that wear out and require constant maintenance...

    Trust me.
    It works.
Once you use it, you'll be amazed.
