Just wondering, does anyone here use a subcontractor to clean/repair some or all of your clients rugs?

No. But we do have a number of cleaning and restoration companies who subcontract - or directly refer - rugs to us.

    Hey Dusty,
Back when I was doing a lot I used to send certain jobs out. Especially things like color striping or blocking. Rug Renovators in New Jersey or Thea Sand at Emmanuels in Seattle Wa. get a lot of wholesale work from people in the trade for that kind of thing. Also for specialty problem pieces with delicate condition or bleeding Nathan Koets in Michigan is great. My feeling is that a smart guy knows his limits and it is better to make a percentage than pay for a expensive mistake.
    Best wishes,
