We tell people our prices on furniture are based on material and cleaning code. Especially for microfiber and noone seeems to mind. Do you have one set price or does it vary according to material???:)

I have one set price. I'm worried that if my customers found out microfiber is super easy to clean there could be a mob in front of my house if I charged more for it.

I had always had a price for synthetics and a higher price for natural or high percentage of natural fibers.

Micro fiber should get a higher charge. Although it releases soils pretty easily, it can require some extra time for a thorough vacuuming. Micro diameter fibers mean more fibers to make a piece of fabric, more surface area, more places for dirt to hide, more need for slow and complete vacuuming prior to cleaning as well as the vacuum strokes with your upholstery tool.

Then there may be some time to groom the fiber after cleaning. This can usually be done pretty quick, but it is an extra step not needed on all fibers.

Consumers think of micro-fiber as being special, so they usually don't mind paying 10% to 20% upcharge.
