John I tried Bridgepoints Foam Defense and it seemed to work ok. You add it to your pre- spray keeps foam down and doesn't harm the performance of your chems.
We don't see nearly as much foam in carpets as years ago. We've always used a powder. Put a little on the carpet and some right in the vac hose and no problem
that may be your MILL Ticket... better get it before somebody else does, LOL... but how would you keep it from coming out while draining waste water...
I never heard of blocks. I'm cleaning a lot of apartments that has a bunch of soap that really foams in the tank.
I have heard people say put a block of soap in a portable to stop foaming, has anyone else heard of or tried this? Mick
Homes, that is a genius idea. If they sold these, I would buy them. Personally I have never heard of this before, but I use those giant bleach tablets that look like a huge aspirin in my waste tank, and they last at least a month. They are so big they won't flush out of the waste tank until they are almost gone. If you could find a way to make a defoamer block like that, I think it would be a big seller. You could either put it in your waste tank or an in line filter.
i think that if you put them in your waste basket it would work well as long as they werent blocking to much airflow. maybe they could take the powdered defoamer and compress it into a small block, or somehow use a bonding agent that is slowly water soluable.
