After you finish cleaning carpets or whatever you use your truck mount for, what is your step-by-step process to cool down a Blueline/Vortex truck mount?

Bring her down to idle, then turn thermostat down to 50, wait til she gets BELOW 180 while the pump is still on of course, then it is ok to turn the pump off then shut her down...and if it is the end of the day, dont forget to lube the blower, before shutting completely down.

When I was running a Vortex, I had a fill line that I could plug into the high flow hi pressure output. I just turned the temp down, and bled off the hot water for about a minute or so.

its not so much important cooling down the water temp as it is the engine. both must be cooled down. as instructed by my distributor he recommends both. last thing i should do is turn off the engine, I find it that you can cool down as you pack up your equipt.
