I have left stripped marks in them or left dots from strong cleaners. So be careful and wipe up asap. It is an easy fix though, pad and BP's floor product. I know people should not wax hardwood, but some do.

In the past we always avoided cleaning area rugs not wool though on a wood floor without at least putting plastic under it but now with the Aero Tech it is dry so fast no problem at all.

I try not to unless the customer insists. It's more money for me if I take it out and clean it!

    Hand knotted
Under no surcumstances should an area rug be cleaned in the home! This is the rule!
***unless there is a pool table ontop of it. Then it is -Low moisture, no fringe cleaning not responsible for floor damage!!!

    Berber or broadloom
No pad - No clean in house!
we will clean this type in the home if it has pad under it - we will do this for 3 - 5 years and then it must be removed for proper cleaning.

After you explian to them what is done when the rug is removed they tend to let you take it out right then and there.

We just cleaned a clients synthetic rug on wood Monday that we usually have to put plastic under but this time using the Aero Tech & a Air Path we literally had it moisture meter dry before we left the house. Also the client was amazed since in the past it took longer to dry & was inconvenient. Also she now said she will clean it more often.
