I want to replace all of my cargo doors with doors without windows. R/L rear doors and side cargo doors. The GM dealership says they have a diiferent part number between the 2002 and under than the 2003 and up models. But doors sold used on ebay list all year models interchangeable. They even look identical to me. Are the doors interchangeable from the different year body styles, seems that only the front end is different.

Not much help here on that but I imagine a body shop would know for sure.

Thats a question for someone that deals with these things day and day out. Your local custum shop will probably be able to answer that question better. Some of those guys really know custom body work.

    AMEN TO THIS!!!

I have no windows other than the driver/passenger. If I don't have someone with me, making a left onto any kind've traffic becomes and eye's closed and a prayer.

Thanks, I have to go check with the body shop. One of my vans has no windows and i've been doing well with it. The other van has side and rear windows. I want to change them so I don't break them and so no one sees my equipment inside. It will also make it easier to logo. I'm going to hit the junk yard as soon as I get back to Florida.

Another option is to put white vinyl on the windows. There is a local company here (non CC) that has done that and it looks pretty good.

JunkYard would be my first option if not that vinyl that covers the windows as been said, it can be complete or there are some with little holes so you can still see outside. A friend sprayed black paint on the back/inside of the windows. Guetto but works, cant see nothing either way.

Junk yard had the answer. Chevy Express and GMC Savana 96 through 2008 rear doors and side cargo doors are all interchangeable. I forgot to ask about the front doors. Thanks everyone.

Hope this is helpful since alot of us have chevy express vans. I went to the junk yard today and I sawzalled ( battery powered ) the side cargo door off by the hinges. I will now take my van and the door to the body shop so they can pop out the hinge pins and put the new doors on. Sawzall took 5 minutes to get the door off. Be sure to cut the body hinge piece not the door hinge piece. Cost of the door was $41.00 then they charged me $8.00 for the plastic door panel that was attached. To get a price like that you have to go to the u pull it (yourself) junk yards.

I have perforated covers over my windows. No one can see in but I can see out and my logo is printed right on it. you might want to look into this as a cheaper alternative even if you go with all white.

Thanks Matt. It will get expensive because I still need three more doors and then one more for my other van because it has a big dent. But I will get my money back when I sell the doors with windows that I'm taking off my van.

I found a side door for my express at the junk yard for $50.00 I installed it myself. This week I found 4 gmc savana doors without windows at the junk yard for $170.00 for all 4. But some had dings, scratches and bent on the bottom from being picked up by the fork lift. Body work and painting cost $600.00 for all 4. It cost about $800.00 for everything but I will sell my doors for $125.00 each. I already sold 2. Just waiting to pick up from paint shop Monday then switch out.
