I've recently purchased a used Chemspec 860. I've been using the Mytee M-12 portable. I am currently working through some minor problems with the 860. I have used the m-12 with great results with the Turbo-force Hybrid at 1200psi. The other day I hooked up the turbo to the 860 and turned up the pressure to 2000psi, it actually seemed like there was a decrease in pressure using the turbo. I dont think this is the norm. I've also never had a truckmount before. Do I need to change the jets on the turbo for the 860? Or do I possibly have some sort of obstruction in the lines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Mark

Check to make sure you have no air leaks in the plumbing , going to the water pump. Make sure the pump is not restricted. Make sure the turbos is not restricted. Check quick connects could be going bad. check hot water bypass maybe stukopen. Or bad valves or worn cups the water pump.

Thier probally is a second unlaoder valve near the wast tank that is factory set to 1200 psi you should be able to adjust it. But please not you should not clean grout over 1200 psi or you will blow the grout out
    good luck

Mark, an obstruction in the lines may actually result in higher pressure but less volume of water. (Think of putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose.) The obstruction increases the pressure.

Do you feel you get less pressure because of a reading on the guage or judging by results or some other indication?

Knowing this would help more clearly identify the problem.

Neil, if this is the case, the secondary one would look the same or similar as the primary one?

Scott, when not triggered, the pressure gauge reads 3000 psi; when triggered it reads 900 to 1100 psi. It's a general 9211 pump (4gpm 3000psi). I can see and actually feel a difference in the pressure. I have flushed the lines several times.

    Thanks for your help,

    Mark

    Mark;

The Chemspec 860 should have plenty of flow capability for your turbo.

Put an open Quick-Connect on the end of your solution line and run the machine at the normal RPM.

See how gallons are in a bucket in one minute.

You need slightly over 2 gal./min for the Turbo Hybrid grout cleaner.

If you don't have enough flow, make sure the chem. feed is turned off and the pressure regulator & RPM's are high enough.

I have an Ace860 same thing
check your Temperature relief valve it may be stuck open it is on the out side of the water box
or the temperature control valve it is on the back of the machine below the water box they both dump water to control the temperature
