I would still consider myself a newbie, and i've been wondering lately, am I eventually going to get myself in trouble using the same chemicals on all carpets? Am I going to damage someones carpets by using the chemicals that I am using?

Would anyone out there be able to recommend a prespray, rinse agent, and general spotter that are safe for ALL carpets? I have an astro van so I dont have room for 30 different types of chems. I'd like to carry those three chems plus all my specialty spotters without having to carry a ridiculous amount on the truck.

Im looking for something safe for ALL fibers so i dont have to do a fire test and dont have to carry tons of stuff on the small truck.

    Thanks.

The thing is not just what type chemical but equipment also Generally a a chemical that stays slightly under a 10 ph is gonna be fine on all wall to wall carpets like Dry slurry, If your cleaning olefin,or polyester and using a portable then how wet you leave it a citrus based prespray or olefin prespray with an acid based rinse to prevent wicking or just boost it up with some pureoxcide in your rinse works kinda like energizer from chemspec I think.

But if your truckmounted with fairly good dry times I like Liquid 90 as an over all detergent rinse maybe enzall or prekleen for food based stains and heavy duty soil lifter a bottle of all textile rinse and maybe some hatian powder and you could do a lot with those.

Just for carpet liquid 90. enzall or express lane, and some citrus based spotter. any detergent prespray and citrus

go for under 10 ph be safe some hypo allergenic baby safe products lack punch to clean imo. element 8 is good.

Im going to post a demo of chemspecs DFC lineup one of these days. DFC heavy duty degreaser with a DFC 105 rinse is an awsome one two punch for any carpet. It is also completely certified green and safe. For trashed traffic lanes a little cirtus booster works great or as expressed previously enzall will work great on trashed.

Its also really cheap, its 15$ a gallon for DFC products. Sometimes as low as 13$ a gallon on sale.

I gave a detailed answer to this same question on another thread. Check that out.
