    30wt non-detergent. Northern tool sells cat oil as well.

    I have two post 2005 cat pumps and they both take ISO 68 which is $10 at home depot. Pre 2005 is 30W.

    I honestly dont think it makes too much of a difference, cat just wants you to use the expensive oil with their name on it as aposed to the 30W oil you can buy in bulk at walmart..

    I have been doing this long enough to see cat oil in all these viscosity's.
    10W40, 10W30, 40W and 30W.
    I generally run genuine cat oil but any 30 or 40ND would work.

    I use only cat pump oil. If you get one, keep another on hand.
