I saw Rob's video on what to do with the low pressure seals if I'm seeing water but I'm also seeing oil coming from around the top! What seals do I need for that repair?

Can't tell a thing from that picture.
Oil doesn't usually leak around the top unless it is coming out the cap
and that is usually due to overfilling or the wrong type of oil.

Here's some better pictures.. As you can see, there's oil sitting near those silver grooves.. IMG_0194.jpg IMG_0193.jpg IMG_0195.jpg

Also note the oil level, does it look overfilled? I've never added any oil to it.

The cap must have a level to tell you the max and min of the oil. And also make sure the oil is from the cat pump and not from other part of the TM. Clean it up good and pay attention as soon as you assemble it to see where it is leaking from.

The red fill cap should have a large o-ring around it to seal the threads...and
there is a plastic site gauge with a dot in the middle of it in the rear of the pump.
Fill with cat oil to the dot in the center of the site gauge.

Can anyone look at this and determine which seals I need? I'm always seeing water at the bottom of my machine so I'm pretty sure I need the low pressure seals?

But a guy a Proline said there's a hard part on the Cat Pump that might leak too..

The cat 340 takes exactly one pint bottle of cat oil after draining.

You really need to clean things up before disassembly. Those ceramic plungers (the long round tubes) do not like a bunch of differant crap on them.

    If you clean and reassemble,
    remove the clutch,
spray the pump with a can of powdered under arm deodorant,
you can then use a drill to run the pump.

The powder will show you where the leaks are originating from.

OR, just take it to a dealer and tell them to change the seals.

wow that's a nice tip, will Old Spice work?

By the way, I suppose I'm going to have to connect the inlet with water correct?

Does old spice leave a white powdery film? The drill will spin it pretty slow. You just need a little bit of water.

I'll look for one that day, but I'm thinking of just putting it back together.. It's rather easy to take off later anyway but **** I spent too much all belts, bolts, welding, drip tray, etc..

Ok I figured out that my cat pump is leaking from the sight opening on top of the red cap! So why would they even put a hole there if it's going to leak like that??

What remedy can I do for that?

The little hole on the red cap on top of the crankcase acts as a vent to relieve normal pressure in the crankcase. If the crankcase is overfilled, or the pump is not on a level surface or water has gotten into the oil, spitting out the oil(red cap) cap can occur. It also reduces air bubbles in the crankcase which can lead to false level readings. I would NOT recommend plugging this hole!
