ok guys many of you know Im replacing the pump on my prochem, it now has the cat 5cp brand new , no oil in it what do you guys suggest?
Sorry, I am slow, I had to read your question a few times to get what you were asking.. What does cat recomend for break in?? Use that for warranty reasons. After that period is up and pump is broke in I know a lot of guys have switched to synthetic oils or Ams oil with very good luck.
I also understand about the benefits of synthetic oil but I just always used Cat Pump Oil because it was what I used while still under warranty so I just stuck with it.
I used the red stuff from a high end presure washing shop here that has been around forever .. The old pump was over 18 years old so I think its good stuff .. Get some one to show you all the ins and out of the Legend and what to look for when its up and running Did you do a asid wash yet ?
not yet, im going to grab that stuff as well, and have someone go through it with me what acid wash did you use john?
there are 2 many to list !! last one I bught was Matrix descaler .. I used vinagar most of the time .. I would start a new post and ask every one what and how they do it ?? I use a hard water filter now ( I love it )
are you talking about those little hard water inline filters or the big blue salt canisters? I am thinking about getting one is why I am asking.
