I am new to truck mounts. I have a warrior with a 18hp briggs & stratton. it has a cat 290 pump. the pressure is low. when i hook up a quik connect to the end of the solution line i get a flow of water about 3 feet and i can put my figer over it and it wont blow my finger off and if i hook up the wand not hardly any pressure but the pressure guage will show normal pressure and when i adust pressure it will it seems fine on the guage. is the pump bad or am i missing something?

Is it losing pressure when you squeeze the wand trigger? Does it drop more than 25-35psi?
    ...

it never looses pressure on the guage and when i hold in the trigger or when i put a quik connect on the end of the line the same flow comes out no matter how long i hold it in. if i turn up the pressure it goes up on the guage but doesnt increase coming out of the hose

I would think that....if the gauge is holding the pressure then the cat pump is pressuring up.....it is getting it out of the hose is what seems to be the problem from what you are describing......what controls the pressure at the hose is the regulator....so that would be the first place I would look.........I would also start looking around to make sure that you don't have any hidden in line screens that may be clogged........when you first turn it on..does it take it a while to pressure up..??.....some regulators have check valves in them...you can take them apart and clean and service and grease them back up and re install......most the time it is just easier to replace them.....www.windtrax.com has the best prices on regulators.....very cheap....always have one on the shelf for a back up.....

I don't know the plumbing on a warrior but on our Bobcat I'd will be looking at the items Jim describe.

Did you check the check filter on your wand? Swap tools to an inline sprayer or upholstery tool?

Take the jets out and flush them with water to confirm water is flowing through the wand.

If you have normal pressure and it is adjustable up and down, then that usually means everything is working.

If you have debris caught in the check valve of the pump, then it wouldn't achieve high psi, but will still flow water.

If you can post a video demonstrating the problem, I'm sure the TMF community can get you going in the right direction.
