What do you guys prefer and why? Barn doors or the single slide door, on the side door on your cargo vans?

Barn doors are best. The only downfall is the wind sometimes. So a home made latch system is what I use on windy days!

The single slide door suits me as i run a CDS, one day i will change it around so the live solution reel and vac hose also comes out the slde slide door.

I used to swear by barn doors but since using a slider for the past 5 years either one will do for me. I like to take our vacuum hose out the side leaving more room in the rear. with the foot print of my shaft drive it allows me to do so. With a slide in machine I might need to have the barn doors cause it does give a few more inches for the opening.

I like the slide door. better for the CDS I think anyways, and its nice if room is tight next to the van, you dont have to swing doors open, just slide it open. doesn't take up as much room to open it. I have the original slider on my '87 van, works good, just got to keep the tracks lubed up every once in a while.
