The vid quality seemed to deteriorate after posting it to youtube, however I hope you get the general "jist" from this vid we put together to test if there was a difference from a cheap car wash soap to an expensive one.

    You be the judge!

I use cheaper soap and it works fine for me. I think where you are going to notice a difference is the wax. Meguiars gold class is really good liquid wax.

We use the paste and it's good, and a can lasts much longer, so does the wax on the car. The real difference is in how the wax goes on. The final look and feel of the paint after the final buff and wax. Gold Class soap will condition and prepare the paint better than a harsher soap due to the ingredients. We know this as carpet cleaners with our presprays, otherwise we would all be prespraying everything with citrus Sol.
