I don't want to seem like I don't want to play with all the rest of the kids - but carpet cleaning and rug cleaning are quite a bit different (actually rug cleaning is more a cousin of upholstery cleaning than it is carpet cleaning ... first cousins, not the marrying cousin type...)

It just would be a little easier to find the rug specific chatter if it was in one specific section.

If that's too much to ask ... then ignore me. :) I have fun here, I just want to be able to jump in and help (if I can) quicker.

Thanks Tre & Rob and all of you TMF'er's (that's almost a bad word... gotta be careful...)

    LOL,
    Lisa

    Great idea.

I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. Since most of us carpet cleaners are not expert enough in the finer points of rug cleaning it would help to have a forum dedicated to the subject.:AddEmoticons0423:

I see alot of guys (even here) go pick up rugs, bring them home, HWE them, pack them/tag them and return them to the customer.

I am with Richard, 'Area Rug Section' would be a good name for the section.

Rugs - the Good, the Bad, the Ugly...

    Rug Tech Talk...

    Rugs, Not Drugs! :)

Something with a little ZING - rugs are fun, and good money, and there's been some really good rug talk here, so it would be a nice section of a really active forum here. At least that's what I think ... I get some really good rug help emails from many of you here - and it would give me a place to share some of the one-on-one advice for everyone to benefit from. I don't know everything, but I certainly try to share what I do know (usually learned from messing up something myself - LOL).

    It'll be great!

    Rugs

I my opinion if Lisa wants to call it Rug Chick Chatter then lets call it that. Or Our Savior of the Almighty Rug Bleeder Study Group.

    PS
Lisa I haven't got a release on that braid rug yet. I will let you know how it turns out.
