Hahaha. I saw them at connections a few years ago Rob. go to www.byebyegum.com :detective: :supercool: :detective:
Always interested in hearing about a better way to remove gum. I had a store to do a few months back that had tons of gum all over. I have a question for you, have you tried it and has it been safe for most carpet types? I got this from there web site: "Several days" scheesh! lol
Gum Gel is good if you have time to let it dissolve and you dont have to worry about delaminating the fibers as much. I personally use solve clean because it is fast.
Never heard of this. I'll look into it. Currently use Chemspec Liqui-Gel. Takes a bit of time but it always works and hasn't ever harmed a rug. Aaron
I use Attack from Cross American. T he gum just starts breaking up after I apply and aggitate. Then it just rinses out. This is the best I have ever used for gum. Sef
Cross-American ATTACK! Sef; Perhaps you can explain how you use the cross-American ATTACK! product. (In its purest Gel; or after it is mixed?) Many thanks; Ed Valentine "Beyond your Expectations"
Ara, I can't say my testing was real world because I smashed gum into a test piece of carpet in my shop. After I walked on it going in and out of the shop for a week I tried Bye Bye Gum. Following the directions on the bottle it did a fair job on removing the gum. In the future I'd let it dwell longer than the two minutes on the label. The gum just balled up into a few pieces as I picked at it with the supplied tool. YMMV
Ed, I use either full strength or 50/50 after I mix the gel down. I apply it to the gum, agitate, extract. Sef
