    DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A SERVICE MANUAL FOR BUTLER TRUCKMOUNT? I REALLY NEED ONE. THERE ARE TO MANY **** WIRE!

    i need to know the wiring going from the front of the van to the back. i have a customer that brought his van in to get a in-line strainer replaced and when i went to turn it on all that happened was that the switched lite up, so i thought may be that the clutch in the front was bad, so i ran power to it and it cut on, so now im like **** what could it be. Keep i mind that this van has been butchered up really bad theres wires that are cut that go to nohting, some of the PCM wire have been splited into and a lot more. I havent really done anything to a butler system dealing with the wires. Also i called butler to ask them for some kind of manual and they said that they dont give them out its kept with in the company. So if anyone has and suggestion it would be more the appreciated.

    Butler Manuel does not show any of the wiring diagrams as far as I know. Or at least on the 05 or the 2011 models. Possibly a bad switch? Had some issues on my 05 with bad switched, was easy enough to correct.

    Check 2 simple things first, Depending on the year and make. You can check these with the van off and you will hear the PTO clutch turn on.

    1) If it is GM, make sure that the parking brake (emergency brake ) is applied and that the switch is making contact. It may have a bad connection there.
    2) If it is GM, make sure it is in park and that the trans switch is working. You can use a jumper wire on the trans switch to bypass it.
