Scott, I picked up a 6lb jar or Clean free today. I just have a few questions #1 If I pre mix it to be used in my hydro force as a pre spray. What is the recommended shelf life? #2 Using it as a rinse thru the US products cobra H2 will it cause any damage to the pump or heater? I will pre mix with hot water before adding to tank to make it liquid. #3 Should I use the same directions as carpet for upholstery cleaning? Thanks Scott any other info will also be helpful.
I'll let Scott take full authority on this one as this is his baby, but till he gets here I can just say that a mild detergent type rinse or natural cleaner rinse should not hurt your porty. It's acidic rinses that kill pumps. You can try using this mixed up like a prespray in the hydroforce as you suggested. Thats the way I would do it.
Thanks for your input Rich. I'm just concerned of the shelf life. As after mixing it with water as a pre spray. I know that its not an enzyme solution. So it should have a better life span. But like you said this is Scott's baby. I am kind of excited about this product. Lets see how well it performs.
Sorry for the slow response. I have been out for a week at Connections trade show, meetings and so forth. The shelf life after it is mixed will be a really long time unless it gets contaminated. It really depends upon how clean the container is and how well sealed up it is when not in use. Should be a few weeks at least. There will not be any need to worry. There are several anti-corrosives in it. This sets Clean Free apart from many similar no soap products. Clean Free will not harm your pump or your plumbing. Yes, use the same dilutions for upholstery as for carpet. Scott W
