There is a special place in HELL for the developers of internet explorer!

I have asked this question on a couple of appropriate design forums, but thought I would ask it here in case someone was lurking who might know the answer.

Page works perfect in all other browsers, in IE it slams against the left side of the window and the .index page doesn't come up at all (the entire content is non existent) only the background.

I fixed the typical IE problems with a overflow hidden tag on the css for .sidebar and .content

I figure this problem must have something to do with the .container?

The really weird thing is that it only happens on the pages that have a contact form in the sidebar? i have compared the code side by side of pages that work with those that don't and can't get anywhere.

If there is someone out there with the answer i would be FOREVER grateful!

Use something else. Safari, Firefox, Opera, many choices. IE has too much of a history and it is a MS product.

For those that don't know, MS is famous for taking an established standard and breaking it for their version.

I wonder if one of tre's guys can figure that out for you. I know what your talking about but haven't a clue how to fix it. I'd love to learn more about web design and stuff but don't really know where to go for it.

LOL, I was hoping one of them might be lurking. Kind of a last ditch hail marry kinda shout out, i am just gonna re-code it checking against IE the whole time. With my level of experience that is just gonna be easier. I HATE IE so bad right now its not even funny. It is just one version of it that is giving me the problem. its totally all right though, TMF can't solve every problem. I am just glad it is the resource that it is.

Google it up or go to odesk.com and see if some tech dude or dudette can fix it for you. Might just be a line of code you need to add to fix it.
Just pulled it up in IE - OUCH!!!!!!

It's not about what "HE" uses, it's what the clients will use as a browser. Al though chrome, FF, Safari are far superior to IE, IE is widely used by the internet population.
