Got a friend in Wyoming, just bought a van and has been getting it cleaned up inside and out. He's a family man, and I want to recommend something a little better than Scotchgard off the shelf at Advance to treat the upholstery with.

    Recommendations?

I think that is just about all there is available to the public.

The only other option would be for her to go buy some protector from a supply shop like we go to.

Maxim Advanced for Upholstery with Dye-Loc works great for auto interiors. This is sold only to professional cleaners, but if he is a friend, you can arrange to have it shipped to him.

Did i ever tell this story?

This guy calls me up with $2-3k in scotchgard he is looking to unload at a fire sale price.
Problem is he bought some "franchise" that gave him auto interior super special grade pre-mixed scotchgard.

The racket was he was to sell this to car dealers, auto detailers etc and they would then charge customers $400 for an application, for a car..... $400 .

He said the economy really hurt his business....
