i have a prochem apex with 3 seperate heat exchangers. The smallest and closest to the front of the unit has a crack in it. Was wondering if removing it and making a loop to use the machine without it will damage the machine? It is the weekend so ordering 1 is impossible and i am going to attempt to repair it. But need the machine for a job i have scheduled. Thanks

I do not have an apex but did have a performer and had bypassed one of my heat exch. Did not damaged the machine, did lose a little heat though..

Yep I did that on several occasions. Lose some heat but beats water leaking and losing crazy heat.
