Kent Berg form the American Biorecovery Association will be giving a Biorecovery class in AU in the fall. Save your money, if you take the other courses you'll just have to retake the class again. THe DVD may be OK for recert but you need hands on from a reputable instructor! Most instructors these days have no business teaching bio classes.

My wife and i are looking at the course with Kent in Melbourne in October (AU$3500) but I must say I'm finding it hard to get replies from the course provider over here. Have rang 3 times they want to sign me up for the course but i want some clarity as to what it actually covers first before I fork over 3.5K and find it's not what we really want.
I know Kent does 2 types of courses one for the tech and one for the owner/ manager but cant get any answers as to what one he is doing over here. or if he is combining them into one.

You obviously know Kent and that he is coming here, Can i ask do you have any info about his course???

    Cheers Steve

Procleaner, you might want to actually read our web site and all the details about the course before you make such comments as:

“THe DVD may be OK for recert but you need hands on from a reputable instructor! Most instructors these days have no business teaching bio classes.”

By making the statement you made you are really showing the world how little you really know about the subject matter.

I suggest people actually do some research before coming to an opinion about our DVD course. The Amdecon DVD course was developed from our 5-day training program. This is the same program that people flew from around the world to attend. They came from the UK, Canada, the United States, and Australia. All we are doing is using the technology that is available today to benefit everyone. This course is now also available online.

I suggest everyone take the time to actually learn about what you are discussing here. Read our website, watch the video samples, and read our testimonials.

You will be awarded the following certifications upon completion of the course:

Amdecon 29 CFR Part 1910 Compliant CTS Decon Specialist Course
    Bloodborne Pathogens 29 CFR 1910.1030
    Respiratory Protection 29 CFR 1910.134
Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) 29 CFR 1910.1200
Personal Protective Equipment 29 CFR 1910.132
Confined Space Awareness 29 CFR 1910.146
Fall Protection Awareness 29 CFR 1910.66 Appendix C
    Lock Out/Tag Out Awareness 29 CFR 1910.147

FEMA, Homeland Security, the CIA, FBI, fortune 500 companies, and universities are all using distance learning programs; it’s the future and it’s here and now.

I’m sorry you feel you have to go sit in a classroom to be taught how to use a sponge. I don’t believe people need to do that.

We learn with our mind, our ears, and our eyes. Over a 1500 people in 12 countries have been trained and certified though our DVD or online course.

Here are two facts to think about:

100% of the people that have taken the Amdecon course (online or DVD) were completely satisfied and happy that was their chosen method of training. (Read our testimonials; they are real.)

100% of people that put it down have never taken it.

You can spend $3500 to sit in a classroom for 5-days a few months from now, or you can start learning immediately, using the technology we have available today to take the Amdecon 5-day course on your own office or home computer, on your own schedule for a fraction of the cost.

Why the big deal about “hands-on?” If an instructor comes to your area to hold a course at a supplier/distributor, how much hands on do you think you’re really going to receive. Let’s see: you might get to put on a suit. You might get to put on a respirator, you might get to go out in the parking lot and rub some absorbent into the asphalt, you might get to see how blood goes through carpet. That’s your typical “hands-on” training scenario. How useful was it really? Not really useful at all. Wasn’t it really just a bit of a dog and pony show? Wasn’t it really just done so you could say you had “hands-on?”

How do I teach you to clean a crime scene via distance learning? Think of it like this:

If I called you up and said, “I have a shotgun suicide to go and do, and I want you to come with me. I will take my time and teach you everything I am doing and demonstrate everything step by step without rushing you. I want you to stand right next to me for the whole job.” You’d think that was a once in a lifetime opportunity, wouldn’t you?

Well, that just what my hands-on training is. You really feel like you are there working the scene with me. We work a complete scene from beginning to end, teaching you and demonstrating to you exactly what, why, and how we do it. The only thing you don’t have to do is get all hot and sweaty. You will learn what to do with furniture, art work, computers, carpet, vinyl flooring, ceramic tile, textured ceilings, flat paint, semi-gloss paint and many other items. You will learn more in the “working a scene” videos than you can possibly learn at a 3 or 4 day class held at a supplier or distributor’s facility.

Also if you want to I will personally assist you via email and phone support in setting up your own hands-on trauma scene mock-up rooms using real blood and tissue. But I don’t think you’ll need that once you finish the course.

Remember, people from Australia, the UK, Canada, and the United States spent thousands of dollars and did a lot of traveling to come to my 5-day course. You can receive the exact same education and certification as them for a fraction of the cost all because we are simply using the technology we have available to us today.

Greendale cleaning I see you’ve had a lot of trouble getting relies and answers to your questions. Please shoot me an email or give me a call and I’ll do everything I can to help you. You can be trained and certified by this time next week.
