    I second Jeff's comment. Just like money is used to keep score in the world of carpet cleaning and business, the currency used to measure how a board is doing and progressing is number of members it has and the number of visitors to a site, usually measured in unique views over a month. Tre has worked tirelessly these last 16 months(with the help of others) to get this board to where it is today, the best read carpet cleaners forum in the world. It is a tremendous accomplishment in my view. Competition is what makes it all possible. You set benchmarks(goals) along the way and then work to exceed them. Tre has done all that and more.

    I feel that he deserves to look back at where the competition is now and then, and marvel just how far he and this board has come.It has not all been roses to be sure, but it has been one heck of a ride.:AddEmoticons0423:

    I respectfully disagree with you, Ken. If Tre had simply said:

    he would have gotten (and deserved) an attaboy or several. But to elevate oneself by stepping on others is petty. My opinion.

    Sam Walton used to visit Kmart all the time. He was a regular there. He looked for there weakness's and strengths. He avoided there faults and improved on there strong points. Now look at Walmart, it is the largest retail juggernaut outfit of all time. We do the same. So we can learn from all and take time to enjoy the fruits of our labors on occasion.

    what did Sam Walton really learn.....the only thing that walmart has going for them is this little guy...:bigsmiley:.....rolling back prices....

    Walmart is the whole house special for $59.00 cleaner....he works on volume.......... so basically all he did was make a bigger Kmart and more of them.....nothing changed but the name....

    I visit many sites in our industry including ics/cleanfax daily.

    Its not stealing ideas Jim, if I were to go to a house with another cleaner and looked at a dirty carpet and he cleans half - well I will look at my half of the carpet to clean and figure out how to make it look better. That is how I am, learning how to improve my life, family, business and much more on a daily basis.
