Alright, enough with the Cfm, lift, I'm cooler or just as powerful blah blah blah.

Put your equipment were your mouth is!

That's awesome, I will go do the same thing with my smaller blower in just a little bit and post it here. Now we just need some portable guys to do it too. Maybe Tim can show off the ETM, Johnny the M5, and Jim Steam the CA. I would love to see all the results. My machine has a 36 blower.

I wouldn't mind seeing everyone put some respectable hose others too.

I know a porty doesn't usually run 150, but at least 50. Maybe 100 if you dare.
So many talk about there long runs, let's see it.

Trying to figure this test out. Our TM are based on vacuum and not pumping water. So as soon as most TM sucks five gallons of water through a 150 of hose it looses almost all suction until the blower has time to clear out the hose.

To me a better test would have been with a stop watch, and timing how long the hose returns to full CFM after all the water passes through the 150 foot of hose and into the tanks

Actually that would be a great addition to the test, however few will have access to a Cfm meter.

The point is to find a real world test that everyone can do for free and be fair, to test a machines strength.
We all "talk" about this and that, numbers that no one can really show, so this is a bare bones simple way to see how long your machine takes to take down a 5 gallon bucket..
    Not rocket science.

My VLC player shows the seconds. According to it the Cleanco was just under 6 seconds and the Vortex was right at 3 seconds.

I had trouble getting it to play too using Google Chrome browser. If you can't get it to play just right click and choose "Save target as" or whatever your browser has in there and you should be able to just download it and play it. My Windows Media Player won't play it and it won't play in either of my web browsers. VLC plays it just fine. http://www.downloadster.org/vlc.php...IE&roia=!j4A4vq1BAAKLOkMAAAltVQAAbPdCAABx7Q-A

I tried it. It sucked the bottom out of the bucket and a big piece of concrete out of my driveway. Video won't load.

Is that the better way to go instead of Photobucket?
