Sef Garcia's 215 foot hose run with a Jaguar and ONE booster is the most impressive performance that I have seen with a porty.

Can an M-5 or LTD5 with 1-3 stage vac Airhog perform as well?

I'd be more impressed with no booster. IMO a booster defeats the whole purpose! Why not just move the porty closer!? I know in that situation Sef said they didn't want the machine running inside the building...

I believe Sef is using an 2ht propane heater with his setup. LG on a cart and extractor to "front door" would give the best performance.
Again it's great when one shares his ideas or setup for ALL to view.

Most jobs will require less than 100 feet. If the Jaguar/booster combo can clean at 215 feet, I'm sure it will work great at 100 feet, maybe even without a booster.

I am not sure which model booster Sef has. I would rather leave everything in the truck and carry a
lightweight CA Power Booster and put it 50 or so feet behind that pull the Jaguar out and even the heater.
As I have indicated before the Jaguar 6.6 can use that much hose especially with a Power Booster. The fact
also that he has propane heat means he does not have to use as much solution to accomplish carpet cleaning!
Certainly when he gets some of the done he will be closer and would remove a section of hose. In my experience
with ETMS or high perfromance equipment like a Jaguar is that they still have enough vacuum to go 200 feet
but usually you do not have to stay with that much hose very long so that you quickly get to 150 feet which is
something that the Jaguar can easily provide plenty of vacuum with or without a Power Booster!

I have run 125 ft with my M5(no booster) and no problems, just did a few extra dry passes and shortened up the hose asap.

Anybody who runs over 200 ft. with a portable is a hack. Sorry, if some of you love Sef but that video was among the most barbaric I have seen in this business. Down a flight of stairs with a porty and running over 200 ft. LMAO! Sef is in the wrong business; he should be putting out fires because he is a very talented flooder.

Deron, With all respect I request that you post some vids to view how a M5-DS should properly be used. I don't understand how I was able to see that good suction at the end of that 210ft hose run? I request that Deron make some postings to youtube.

Eco, your sentence is so screwed up ("I don't see how I could see....") that I cannot understand what you are trying to convey. I will try to make some videos of my setup etc. in the near future but until then, suffice it to say that I do not advocate long hose runs with any portable. Recoil is not an Everest.

If you do make some VIDS. try to keep yourself out of them. Because, I mean, you put the U in ugly.

The Power with Booster (3 stage) at 215 ft was very good.
I have run 150' 4 times with Jaguar and had no problems with power. (I always do dry strokes)
WIth fans running I have dried carpets in 3 hours after cleaning 150'.
No floods on my jobs. It may be that some using a portable will flood. This being the reason they will not go the distance.(Alex Arz)

I do have runs of 100' or less 95% of the time.

When I use fans, I get the carpet dry in 15 minutes, while you get it dry in 3 hours. What does that tell you? Some of the areas where you don't have good air flow from the fans are going to take upwards of 2-3 days to dry.

The vac power with that Recoil is NEVER good. You would be lucky to be pulling 100" of water lift from the machine. Running over 200 ft with that virtual Rug Doctor is a conquest in modern flooding. Have you considered a career as a fireman?

Do you own a Jaguar or have you tried one on demo Deron? You speak as if you have had hands on experience with the Jag 6.6.

According to Mytee's specs, the LTD5 and M-5 both have 500 psi pumps and both produce 230 cfm's and 144 water lift. How is the LTD5 more powerful than the M-5 DS?
