...and the guy wants to seal it himself. I have never had a customer want to do this. Somehow I get the feeling that this will lead to problems? Can you foresee any problem with this? Rob.
Believe it or not we have had clients say they want to seal tile & even protect carpet themselves & so far it has never been a problem accept for the lost revenue that is.
It's happens for me probably 10% of the time, he either doesn't want to spend the extra $$ to seal or he's a DIY type. State in your reciept/contract that he's sealing and yer not responsible. Rob, sorry for the EXTREMELY late response.... my 1st worry in the customer sealing grout themselves, would be "efferflessence" (sp) from some water based sealers. Maybe this will help in the future.
