by the way, i talked to someone in s. florida, he advised me that this is just a preheater. he also said that after about 2 years, most guys just take them out and throw them away. i guess i wont be getting it repaired

I had to replace them in a Bridgepoint Lancer I had and I can tell you brand new from Interlink Supply $300 each.

yea, we did price them new. They just arent worth replacing in my opinion

I wouldn't really say they are a preheater, on my BP Lancer I could swith from "Exhaust" to "Heat Exchange" (which is what the radiator cores are), I could just keep my diverter valve on exhaust and not use the heat exhange and then I would have no need for the cores.

On the Prochem machine the blower exhaust goes through those preheaters. If you put a tennis ball over the vaccuum inlet it will heat up the water quicker.

You have the mfg and part number I would google it or take it down to Napa auto parts those guys can get any thing
