Default Help choosing my 1st Truck Mount

Hello, This is my 1st post. I am glad I came across this forum. I have been the owner/operator of a cleaning company since 2000 serving the Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts area. I have never owned a Truck Mount but are looking to get one now. I could use some help.

I am looking for a system to go into a Wells Cargo Tandem Axle Cargo Trailer. The trailer would be either 6x12 or 6x14 and is able to carry a payload of about 6,000 pounds.

I am looking for a truck mount that can do both residential and commercial. I need one that does not need a great deal of maintenance. I here Prochem, El Diablo, and HydraMaster are all great.

My question is, if you were going to go out tomorrow and purchase a truck mount system which would it be and why?

Please note I am not rich....not even close so I am not looking for the most expensive system out there.

How much money are you willing to spend?
Are you looking to buy a used or new truckmount?

It'd be very hard to look past the new PowerClean Liberty.

Plumbed 2.5 right from new, awesome heat and airflow for a 'baby' machine that will put to shame competitors bigger machines.

I saw and demoed this machine in Aussie a few months ago.

I wouldn't hesitate if I needed another EXCEPT to remember that I already have a large Genesis for long run connercial.

I also encap the majority of my commercial having a 19" Cimex, a 21" Brute and a R35 Rotowash (CRB machine)

John

I am not sure, I guess $15,000 maybe $20,000.

I really would prefer new.

Powerclean would get my vote. I like their service ethic and John is right. The Liberty is one fine unit for the price!

Default Which one ? The El Diablo gets my vote.

If price and performance is a factor. Don't over look this unit in Kerosene heat. At 700 lbs it's easy to haul in a trailer at $4.00 a gallon that's to think about. Comes with a 70 gallon waste tank.Very simple and straight forward to work on. 24 hp Honda power and a DSL 45 Roots blower. No need to grease bearings.Comes in at 15,000. Can't be beat Vacumn to 400 FT.

Well it seems Power Clean is a quality product as is the El Diablo and HydraMaster.

My problem is: No Power Clean and No El Diablo dealers in New England.

I am leaning towards those machines but are weary not have a place to install and repair in my area.

HydraMaster has a guy in Massachusetts and a Jon Don in New Hampshire...both less than 2 hours from me.

with around 15 to 20 thousand to spend I would look at either Blueline's Blue Wave Or Hydramaster's 427. Both are fabulous machines that will last you many years with proper maintenance.
