I see you like Hydramaster Jimmy. Have you tried Vac-a ways products? I like the fact that they crystalize when they dry. Just vacuums off!

I use Prolon from Interlink... works well, Or Chemspec DFC 105... BUT they dont work well with "local" or "softened water" But they work great with R/O water. It's all about water quality.

I use Procyon and DFC 105 (for wool as it is now wool safe) with tap water and get awesome results. I was planning to use a water softener, but don't think I need to.

Water softeners and R/O are 2 different things.

Do you have any idea what the TDS of your local water is Bill? The water here in Phoenix, is averaging around 500+ and I have seen as high as 1,100. Thus those same chem's did NOT work for me prior to getting into R/O.

If your TDS is below 100 you should see good results from those chem's. I have found that water quality is everything when using "green" products. Or any products for that matter.

I like and use Axiom but I am testihg some other products. Have not been real impressed with Procyon, Green Balance and Master Blend Soap Free. I don't have a water tank so I use a lot of different water' I recently cleaned a house that had a Rain Soft system was amazed at the difference, Lance email me some info on yor stuff please?

We have made the switch to Procyon 2 years ago and the results have been impressive. When your techs tell you that it works 40% better than the other stuff its a winner.

We do soften our water, we did that a long time ago and relized 40% - 50% drop in chem usage.

The clients love the fact we use solutions that are green - the only complant we received was the lack of chem smell after the jobs were complete - they thought we didn't use any soap - after explianing the new safer solutions being used they were very appreciative.
