Just keep it greased and it will be fine.Just a cracked seal that you can fix at a later date if you want.Keep an eye on it and add grease a little more frequent.

That's what I thought. There's doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the bearing. I just hate to see any grease flinging around my machine. I pride myself on keeping it clean.

If you are not already, use a synthetic grease,it will give better protection at higher temps and it might not spew out as quick.

Its normal for it to expel grease. I wouldn't worry about. Like priceless said, keep it greased. I have a big pile of grease under mine.![]()

I'm familiar with it leaking from the weep holes. This is a new leak coming from around the shaft seal.

Do you think you can get in there and try to wipe it down? After its cleaned up you can keep a good eye on it. I think you will still be fine this weekend. Just make sure theres more grease inside than out if you know what I mean.

I haven't seen anymore coming out from around the seal. I had installed a remote grease block kit on the front of my TM and also installed compression fittings and tubing on the blower to carry the excess to a can where I can clean it up easier. So far so good.

Jim, By any chance did you or someone else shoot grease in the blower with an air operated gun?

Ara,
No I just use a small hand grease gun, 3-5 pumps every 8 hours of run time.

Blowers do not need to be greased that often.

How often should I be greasing it?

Every 500 hrs I say every 300 as they age past ten years
