After you finish cleaning carpets or whatever you use your truck mount for, what is your step-by-step process to cool down a Steam Way truck mount?
Please let us know which truckmount model you own.

We run Legacy Powermatics. About 5 minutes prior to finishing a job, we turn the heater off. (We mainly do commercial / restaurants and run the heat at 250). Once the job is complete, we turn off the pump, turn off the water source (we don't carry our own water anymore), and turn the idle down for about 2 minutes before shutting down completely. Roll up the hoses and get to the next job.

I run a Powermatic too. I turn off the soap draw and the heater. I turn the three way switch to warm up (I know but that's what it says) but with the heater off it draws the temp down. I go down to about 150. Then I shoot some WD40 and turn the throttle down and let it idle but only for about 20 seconds.
I do most of my jobs with the heat set at 200.
