Does anyone know why? I have a legend. When I start it, it works fine. But as soon as I turn my pump on it kills the engine. If I let it sit for a while it will turn on for about 30 min and then it will die. Thanks

I had an ACS machine that would keep shutting off on me. Turns out the ignition wiring went bad on me. In your situation you may want to take it in to be serviced. Is the machine getting over heated or flooding out. Just not much information to go off of here man.

give us more info. does it do this every time or are you using it everyday and sometimes it quits?
my guess (since it does it when you turn the pump on) is that it may be your low water pressure switch/sensor assuming that your recirculating tank is full of water. have you tried to run it with the switch in the override position when it does this?

I just serviced a Legend with same problem. It was the high temp safety switch on the head. The radiator was low on fluid and the unit would run about 10 to 20 min. before the head high temp switch would go to ground and stop motor. Then I would start motor and turn on pump and the engine would die. Filled radiator and problem went away. Radiator was low due to a bad radiator cap but I have seen bad head gaskets cause this problem. This problem shows up during hot weather almost always. Other safety shutoffs to check are low water pressure switch, high water pressure switch, recovery tank float swich and the low oil pressure switch.

this sounds like what keeps happening to me and we have been in a heat wave (100* to 105*) but I don't think my deal has a radiator....... Can your oil sensor cause this problem? How do you check your high and low pressure sensors?I just serviced a Legend with same problem. It was the high temp safety switch on the head. You have to unhook them and connect both leads with a wire in most cases.
