Fuel leak problem. Need help fast!!!

I recently changed the fuel lines on my machine and also replaced the gasket between the air filter canister and the carburator. The problem now is that it is leaking fuel from a small tube, it is an open tube it was NOT doing that before. I will attach a few pictures so you guys can see what Im talking about. I have no idea how to fix it. I'm aware that the gasket is not the problem because once I plug the tube it stops leaking, but I want to fix it and not just plug it.

    Thank you in advanced.

honestly do not know what it is. The only thing i can think of it to be would be a pcv port. But I have never seen a pcv valve on an air cooled motor. If I knew what type of engine it is and the hp I can find out for you by doing some homework for you. Sorry pal.

As near as I can tell. It almost looks like either a fuel inlet or fuel return line. It also looks like the carb mounted fuel pump. See if there is three or four screws that attach it to the carb. If so Its a fuel pump thats vacuum operated. If you need step by step info Call me at 541-474-3311 Pat meanwhile I am looking up the prochem website for your model type

He's runnin already. How could it be an inlet? Its a breather. G tech might be right. the carb could be flooding. I would look to see if fuel was also running acrosss the butterfly rod linkage.

I got a look at one of my friend's machine today, he has a prochem 150 and has the same engine as well as the same tube that is not connected anywhere else. He told the same thing about being a needle that is out of place or stuck for some reason. I will try to open the carb hopefully it does not get too complicated. Thank you for all of the responses.

The fuel pump is located somewhere else, I will try to disasemble the carb, hopefully it is something I can fix. I hope I won't end up needing a new carb.

Not being able to tell what engine hes got. some briggs and kohlers have a vacuum operated fuel pump. barbed to crankcase "Bottom" as seen in the pic..and the other barbed is the fuel line "Top". In truck mounts the vacuum port is vented and an external fuel pump is used

you just need to rebuild it in a worst case scenerio. its not too complicated. just change old for new. or take the top off like what they said. and be careful of the float. dont loose parts into the engine. cover the throttle throat with a lint free rag if possible good luck. hope it works out for you.

Did you fix the problem ?
the tube on the picture is not conected to anything is the overflow outlet
inside the Carb is a float that controls the fuel input the float open and close when the carb has been fill with gas
the needle is control by the float if there is dirt o the needle is bad gas keeeps entering the carb and it will overflow
i am 100% this is the problem just open the top of the carb to get to the float and needle
