If RV can figure out how to put a 500psi on the CFX, I might go that route? Really like the looks and design of the CFX.......Just want at least 500psi.

Hmmmmm, maybe Locko will come out with his by the time I decide?

    E,
I have the feeling that the cfx will be only good for extraction and with the 250 psi. the rotovac 360 will work as the rotary drimaster, so why to have a pump?
for example why to have the pump for a drimaster upholstery or rotary drimaster, when it works by flow, no impact.

Because so of us still use a plain ole wand. I get what you are saying and never thought of the CFX that way. Thanks for clearing that up for me Locko!

Maybe with a TM at high psi the jets from the rotovac can make the impact.

Re: What portable do you like and why?

Jacobs, my modified eclipse broke that, I had the same WATER lift gauge from proteam It can go up to 160 or 180, then you don't know, I had to remove the needle and did one lap and half. I had to get the Mercury vacuum gauge. I don;t know how many cords is that one mine was ( and I say was because i am doing other modification) 1 cord 15 amps and the other cord 20 amps. 20 inches of mercury after 50 ft, 21 at the machine. I have the video.

But congratulation it looks like a great machine!

Re: What portable do you like and why?

Just a tid bit of info; when using a Rotary Power Wand of any kind; flow is generally high or at maximum of what the pump will allow; When I was using a rotovac powerwand a few years ago with a Generic porty I found that making a few dry passes after cleaning improved groomed appearance as well as aided in drying time. IMHO this has served as SOP for us ever since.
