    Thomas,
    How much faster? 13 inch vs 2 5 1/2 inch CR brushes. With the fiber plus pads twice as fast. With the adjust a brush still faster but not as aggressive as the fiber plus pads.
    Don't get me wrong .Koblenz has served me well and on those long hot days instead of dragging the 175 upstairs I will always have my Koblenz. 150 lb porty upstairs ????? NO WAY !!!

    Cool, going to look at a few now. Any things I should look out for? I know rubber bumpers are a must.

    Re: Best Portable Wand for Carpet Cleaning (and small truck mounts)

    I went to look at a machine yesterday evening. It was a Floormaster brand, I couldn't find much info on them on the net so I passed on the sale. It was a nice looking machine with alot of cool features, but it had a plastic handle that gave me pause. It was $400 so that is another reason I passed. I also found a 13" Oreck Orbiter for about $90. Any idea if it is a oscillating pad machine or a 175 rpm?

    It is a oscillating pad machine, but it has a small motor.

    The 17" Oreck is a better choice.

    I just received my 0530 yesterday and cleaned with it today. Haven't done a full job with it yet, just my kids rooms, but its feels good so far. Now need an adequate glide for it.

    Yea, what do you mean? How can I tell if the head has a defect? Mine seemed fine, but I haven't look very critically at it.

    When you put the wand on the floor, then make sure the lips are straight, no gaps in the middle. I tell this because long time ago i bought that and it came like that.

    Jeremias;

    They look good.

    How much were the optional SS parts ?

    Let us know how the small tool works as a stair tool.

    Tank you Jaime for the suggestion about this wand, I did 2 services this afternoon with it, an so fare I am very pleased with it, I feel that I don’t need a glide on this wand , I will keep my AW wand with glide for glue down and berber carpet and for regular residential this wand. It is very light and you can clean with only one stroke. I did this video about my experience with the wand and I am trying to develop a greater stair tool so check it out,..
