$5000 A year?
Yeah but i will just find another gulity pleasure, that money will not see a bank account for sure

Remember I live in one of the cheapest states to buy smokes.... I bet Frank was spending a fortune up in NJ!

17 years ago, I gave up a strong can-a-day snuff (Copenhagen dipping tobacco) habit. Cold turkey is the only way I could do it. A word of advice: walk away from conflict if there are witnesses who might testify against you later.

Richard is correct. I can't believe anyone says that the physical addiction lasts only 5 days. I think the psychological addiction is even stronger than the physical. The bottom line for me was that I had to want to quit bad enough and I just had to make up my mind that I was was going to beat this now, not later. Quitting the addiction sucks but it's more than worth it. Hang in there guys, we're pullling for you.

I agree too... I am on day 5 seems to get harder off and on.. Having that morning coffee without one after.. Seems like I notice someone light up everywhere I go.. And I know for sure having that cold beer this weekend without one will be hard... Wish I never started smoking...Richard is correct. You will find that you want to drink more coffee. Your body is screaming for a stimulant and is trying to replace the one you are used to getting. (Nicotine)
Problem with drinking all that coffee is you can start getting tummy troubles :(
On the plus side, having a coffee does help suppress the urge a bit, for reasons already stated.

Sorry but the easier softer way has just as much of a success rate as cold turkey. Besides if you can remember the pain it causes you, you are more likely to STAY stopped. That's the harder part. Lots of people quit but can't stay that way. Really what it's all about is some form of change in thinking.
People wonder why alcoholics, drug addicts and even smokers can't/won't stop. Well those people have NO idea what an obsession is.
Keep on keepen on Frank.

Smart move there, you must be really serious about this.

Keep it up Frank, after tomorrow we will be counting in weeks for you not days. Before you know it, it will be months.
