About LinkBacksI have been using a Macbook for about 2.5 years now and running bootcamp to run my windows programs.
The only downside to bootcamp was i had to reboot my Mac to get into or out of Bootcamp.
Recently, i installed VMWare Fusion3 on my Macbook Pro.
This allows me to run windows programs live on my Mac.
It shares utilities so it runs seamlessly by itself or in conjunction with your mac.
Anyone thinking of upgrading to a Mac can now import their entire pc onto the mac virtual screen using Fusion3.

I'm a MAC and will NEVER go back to PC, EVER.
Mick, you could dump all the mess and run parallels. You would eliminate all the stuff you just said and use one program. If you have any questions PM me.

It is a seamless program which allows you to run them both at the same time. Read up on it.

Been using Parallels for quite some time now and wouldn't use anything else - but fusion is pretty good as well.
You need a medal Mick. 2.5 years of rebooting everytime - oh man - I would have just stayed with a PC if that was me. Your a patient bloke Mick!!

The only thing i need windows for is to run Quickbooks for my business.
Once Quickbooks makes a version for Mac that covers our Tax system including the GST i will no longer need windows.
I see they have a version for Mac in the States but that tax reporting is different to ours.

We've been using Mac ever since we started in '91. Using Quickbooks for $$ and Daylight for Customer database.
So far, so good!!!!!!
Now, if i can just find a way to justify buying the iPad...............

You guys that have the iPad could you print from it? I have bluetooth ready printer... Does the iPad have bluetooth? Or anyway to connect a printer?

Today i installed Microsoft Office into my virtual pc run by vmware.
I then was informed i had reached my install total for that product.
Because Fusion3 shares files with Mac, i needed office to open some files so i downloaded www.openoffice.org
Runs just the same as Microsoft office but this one is free.
