Fundraiser ideas?

Wonder if anyone has some ideas I could do to help with a fundraiser?
My daugther has a friend who has cancer and all her friends are doing a fundraiser to help her family with the medical bills.
They are going to raffle off baskets and other stuff . I was wondering what would be a good idea for me to offer gift certificates and bottles of spotter?

Goto all of your radio stations tell them the situation and offer a 50/50 deal for people. they have you do the work, write one check for you and the other for the fund. and its a tax write off for you but it also gives your company a good image. the radio staions are awesome when it comes to helping out. they will even take calls for you there at the station and give them the right number for you. you should also contact the news also just to get their help too. and be prepared to get super duper slammed lol I help in a case where a lil girl needed some help I made plenty of money but I helped get that girl into the cancer research of america. in one week I grossed over 30 k for the event. people gave alot more than 50% sometimes they even gave $1000's to the funding. And beleive me nothing made me happier to do it.

Our company did some fund raiser for elementary schools. We provided $50 gift certificates for any cleaning service. The certificates clearly showed that our minimum fee was $69 (later $79). Limit one certificate per household.

The school either sold, raffled, auctioned or whatever the certificates. When many companies participated, we would give 3 or 4 certificates. In one case only a few companies participated. We changed the gift certificate to $25 but let them have 100. They sold books of certificates from a few companies. We had maybe 20 actually redeemed.

A nice way to get new customers. The difference between the value of the certificate and the minimum charge meant you at least got your basic expenses covered. Many folks had extra work done. Many become long term customers.

I never thought of that one e9er. I do clean for them every now and again. in Talent But they have had lots of changes in management the past few years I think they forgot about me the past year.
