Thread: things people leave behind on jobsite or road for that matter

Funny thing today. Had a job in Medford to day. I get to the site clean the carpets do the entire home. and couch and love seat combo with recliner. I get the job done it was thank God a regular cs. So It Dint take long at all. I finish the job get into the van cs called. you left something behind in the road. I turn around thinking oh flippin great what could I leave in the road. I pull up and she hands me a TI wand but it wasnt mine. I put in in the cargo area and leave but take the road the other way. I see a sahara pro-x on the curbside thinking what in the heck??? I get out put it into the cargo. less than half block I come across an upholstery tool, another blower, a nap brush and a couple of of hand pump sprayers. I am beginning to wonder I should be using gloves for possible theft recovery. Load the stuff up drive a few more blocks and there was a line of 200 feet of 2" Im thinking the worst at this point. Someones van got stolen. I finally get it all rolled up into cargo. Officer comes over asking me why my stuff is littering the road. I explained.. he says dont let it happen again..OK???? I continue to drive I am having fun at this point now. I find a stair tool been completly flattened. I finally make any other sweeps of the area found nothing more. so I go get a phone book and make some calls. I found the owner of the property in an older phone book. His son was irrate at a custy and left the house completely ticked off and with the back doors wide open.. and was later pulled over on the freeway when the chems started to fly out. I dont think dad is going to be happy when junior comes home. at best I just made a good friend today. as for the kid.. I hope daddy is gonna go easy on him but thinking probly not.
