Question Check out how small this box truck door is

I was browing classified and found this box truck with one of the same machines I use. I noticed the door is extrmely small. This got me thinking, does a door have to be a certain size? seems like the machine would breathe better with a wide opening but thats all i can see that would be a problem. Do you see any other problems this would cause?

Re: Check out how small this box truck door is

    Hello Rob,

There was a flame posted here (gen carp. or portables, think latter...) last night, then this website went down for "maintenance" or "something"... it seemed to be pretty thorough thread, and I think it was aimed at you, but am not certain... ?

    Was it aimed at you?

    Why was a dissenting/negative opinion/thread removed?

I just glanced at the post, (tried to re-read but site went down, and then it was gone...) but one aspect that was addressed, website development and associated/exorbitant expense, seemed to be an accurate assessment... E.G. $6k, $7k for development of sites utilizing WordPress, etc.. (this had not escaped my attention early on...)

I see the shameless self-promotion on this board - register here, buy this, etc., (obvious/stealth marketing - hey, it’s everywhere...) and I also understand that there is helpful information to be found here, as well...

Of course it is everyone's individual choice as to whether the level/manner of marketing vs. available information is acceptable...

... but personally, I abhor censorship of opinion... nor do I support entities that engage in it. Makes me wonder about character, motivation, etc.

I can presume to know the nature of your response, but thought that I would still like to hear what you have to say regarding this matter, rather than assume...

    Thank you for your time.

Any "legitimate" person is entitled to their opinion. However in that case we tracked the IP. It was someone hiding behind a proxy and spamming our website. Free speech is not absolute. Feel free to curse a judge in court and notice the ramifications. When it comes to censorship, company pricing and other advertising, I would be glad to discuss this with you further. Feel free to call me at 1-757-486-3532. For example, then I will be glad to discuss that any endeavor takes money to run, such as website development,it consists of a team of graphic artists, videographers and text writers and much more. Yes anyone can do this for far less, just like my customers who call me and say they can use a Rug Dr. What they fail to realise is that much more goes on behind the scenes. The same with TMF,it takes a lot of money to keep up with the growth. Servers, hosts, updates, firewall protection from hackers and much more. This does not include the countless hours devoted to hundreds of phone calls, emails and pms that are addressed weekly. However I tell customers who say they can do it for less on their own,I say please go right ahead.

PS:And if you are addressing this thread as advertising, your assumption is incorrect. TMF classifieds is free. We have not made one penny off the 150,000+ dollars sold there by TMF members.

First I would of never mounted it in that small of area... Not only there's not good air flow theres not good access to tm controls.. Disconnects ect.. Are blocked.. I would of mounted in the back facing out back door....Poor install... Or why not have a bigger side door installed...
Within doubt we can get it out!

The door may have already been there..... But I would prefer a larger opening for air and access.

In all honesty, this board has an owner and is a private entity, so really Rob can censor anything he wants.

P.S. I've seen these trucks around lately, not used for carpet cleaning, but as rentals. I wonder how much they are.

    Rob,

As for his IP address and hiding behind a proxy server - why not? Even so, it seemed that a legitimate first and last name, etc., accompanied his post, and as I remember it, he had a handful of posts prior to the one you removed - and I saw no sign of spamming. His message seemed factual and sincere - you did not like what he had to say - so you removed it.

    Your free-speech/censorship argument is specious - irrelevant - a non-response.

Why would I want to call you? I really don’t get that… to afford you an opportunity to enlighten me? You do not even know who I am, or what my background is… did it ever occur to you that I might actually know a “little” something about software development? Selling modified open-source, using purchased forum software, "yup", you are definitely an authority on the subject... a legend in your own mind...

Frankly, I had not planned on responding, but what I found more disturbing than your response, was the lack of awareness/interest of others, at the extent to which you revealed yourself via your response.

Ironic given the “Duane Oxley – Where are you???” thread, his posts, your posts, and then yours here.

As it turns out, it was safe to presume. You did not disappoint. Such arrogance. Perhaps a little hubris?

I expect this in today’s bizarro world. Right is wrong - wrong is right - up is down, down is up. Shame my expectations have become so low... no fun.

Thank you Michael, you are entitled to your opinion. Obviously we don't see eye to eye,but one thing we can agree on is what you said above. I do not know you and I can safely say the same, you do not know me. Have a great day sir.

    Michael
Just so your aware, it was me that removed that post by George York.
I sent him an email stating my action and invited him to reply back but he at this time has NOT.
The other posts you refer to by George were in fact the same toxic garbage re posted.
Here is an extract of the email i sent George.
I have no idea what your agenda was posting such stuff on Truckmountforums.com but let me assure you, as administrator i do not allow such personal attacks on any member and that includes the owners of the Forum.
It is for that reason i removed your posts and this email is to inform you of my actions including suspending your account.
If you wish any further discussion of my action, email me

As you can see, if and when i need to take action regarding editing or removing an offending post, i contact the person involved and inform them of my action.

It was not just 1 proxy IP Address but numerous one. His handful of posts was the same identical post in every forum, nothing was changed it was spammed.

HTML Websites are created in Notepad, it is free software that web developers charge thousands of dollars to create in, same goes for Joomla, Wordpress and many other website builders out there. I personally charge $2,997 and up for web development that takes our team a full 30 days to create, we take our time doing it, handful of writers (if they want us to create the content), stock images and even exclusive pics, best graphic artists in our industry hands down, modified plugins and much more is involved in web development. I don't see you nor anyone else designing sites such as: www.sansonecarpetcleaners.com , www.drynclean.com , www.truckmountforums.com , www.seabritecarpetcleaning.com and many others. - I personally know over 20 web design sites who charge NO less than $10,000 for custom/modified Wordpress sites, is that outrageous? Surely not, look at the quality and compare the free designs or even just templates vs modified/custom built websites, night and day difference.
On a side note, For over 50+ hours I put into TMF, monthly dedicated server costs, coder expenses, security updates, software, bandwith, optimization and much more I am very thankful that TMF Members purchase our products, chemicals, web development and search engine optimization services and other supporting items - makes me keep on going because the members are appreciative, and even if they don't buy anything the testimonials and just a simple thank you I am just as satisfied.

Well, how about that door? Yes seems too small for good air flow and looks like it may be a pain for certain repairs. I read the post yesterday from George York, I thought someone hijacked the site so I got off right away in fear of a virus.

Kind of hard to argue with that Jose. I don't think anybody here is against free speech but free speech is not a license to slander and freedoms should come with responsibility. If you want to be a member of this board, why is it not reasonable to expect to be responsible for following membership rules and guidelines? If at any time an individual finds these conditions unacceptable, there are other forums where they might prefer to participate.
