alll that is great info.... I have use somethjng very simuliari .. but I have started to think.... that you lose people. we guys on here are ate up with this stuff, we love it.... we do thats great but they don't they love other things, they have other things to worry about. they want someone they can trust, and knows what they are doing... everytime I start to go on and on about IICRC or if i go into too much detal they are like DUDE just clean the carpet.... lol same with printed materail... I think make it look proffesanal.. I am not for the printed flyers on car windows, looks to fly by night to me. nice printed materal and to the point

I have to agree everytime you go on and on they always say hey just clean my carpet ok, I dont care about all that other stuff. You were referred by so & so and just do for me what you did for them.

I am working on our presentation. I try not to pitch people. It is better to engage them somehow. They need to have input. People do get tired quickly of us talking about cleaning stuff. If you ask questions and talk about them, they will talk themselves into your services. One thing I feel like I can share at this point of development is; When we get a call and early on they ask "how much do you charge"(from whatever source). We are going to ask "is price the main reason for the company you would choose to clean your carpet or would you rather know your carpet is actually clean?" If they answer "I want it to be clean", price is going to be less of a concern. If they say "price is the only factor I am concerned about" We will say, I understand price is important. We are not the cheapest you will find. I do however guarantee you your carpet will be cleaned by a person that is certified by the IICRC to do so while following every step and guideline recommended by the Carpet and Rug institute and the iicrc which is the only way to insure your carpet is clean. With that in mind, would you like to schedule a day for your cleaning or would you like to schedule a time for a free in home evaluation and a guaranteed price for your cleaning?

I took some info from BIOMAN here and made up my own letter to hand out with the bill at residents homes. I only handed out two because I spilled some coffee on them. I got a call today from 1 of the customers homes I drooped one off at and they scheduled a mattress cleaning for Friday. I did not mention the letter or try to sell this to my customer I just drooped off one page printed on plain white paper with the invoice.

Wow there can really be some money in this stuff. I think its the ewww factor so I may have some professionally printed maybe with some color pictures of dust mites and their poo and mail them to my customer base and see what type of return I get from them.

If you are talking about sales pitch to "upsell" while on a job already booked, I mention things here and there If I happen to notice, like if they want the living room carpet cleaned and the chair is a mess, I mention I could clean it for $x
if they like.

I have to watch tho, I get too carried away upselling and end up being an hour or more behind for the rest of the day. And that can get very frustrating to our scheduler.

I like the twist you put on it Jason especially eliminating air duct cleaning. I dont have the equipment to offer the service. Dust Mites is two words not one like you have it in your letters.

In the paragraph that starts with "combining" I think it should be does instead of dose. Also, shortly after that, I think there should be a period after healthy. "So in other words..." should start a new sentence.

I just skimmed it for content. Wasn't looking for typo's but those two things stood out to me.
