New Hydrogen Peroxide based mold and mildew cleaner from XM Industries

Just wanted to gauge some interest on the forums about a new mold remediation product we have developed at XM Industries. Blast-Off is a professional grade organic contaminate cleaner designed specifically for professional mold remediation experts as a cost effective alternative to media blasting. I know mold remediation is a smaller aspect of the forum, but with hydrogen peroxide solutions being cheaper than medial blasting, and Blast-Off being cheaper than other hydrogen peroxide based cleaners on the market, it has the potential to make your mold remediation division more cost efficient and increase profitability.

We have been testing this against several mold remediation chemicals with a huge amount of success. Blast-Off is currently in use by several remediation companies along the East coast, from North Florida and South Georgia to New York, including several branches of franchise companies like Puroclean. I developed a side by side comparison of Blast-Off with 30% hydrogen peroxide, even though most hydrogen peroxide cleaning companies use only 17.5%-20%. Video results can be seen here:

I know the video is pretty rookie as far as the editing/shakiness, but it does get the point across about the effectiveness of Blast-Off.

I also wanted to get some feedback on some of the more popular truck mount and mold remediation magazines out there and your opinions on the effectiveness of advertising in them (IE would YOU be interested in a product advertised in one of these magazines? Enough to visit our website/call me for more information?) We started in the mold preventative aspect of shipping pallets, and have since moved into mold remediation in residential and commercial properties, so I'm new to the industry. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the welcome. We have a separate division of our company that specializes in mold remediation jobs that exclusively use our products. Since I'm in the sales division, I'm learning more about remediation and clean up that I could ever retain!

How does you product compare to SERUM 1000?

Same concept (hydrogen peroxide based), but less expensive and more effective. If you watch the YouTube video in my signature (or here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN5XMsTsdoA ) You will see the right beaker is 30% Hydrogen Peroxide, whereas Serum is 17.5%. I've had a few independent companies using serum test out product next to theirs, and I haven't been beat yet (at least they were using serum before the test....)

we also have a product called Structure-Guard RTU that is comparable to Serum 2000. It's a moisture preventative barrier that is either clear or dyed yellow or blue to ensure coverage and our warranty.

Brent I am looking for a really good mold product manufacturer. I have been let down by other companies claiming to be the best and it doesn't work. Also the encapsulant they sold me was clogging the sprayers, because the paint was gumming up in the paint container. Which means it was on the shelf for a long time. We mixed it for the recommended time, but no luck. I am in Illinois and would like to get some samples please or a small order to try the products. We have multiple jobs going on and if this product works as good as the video, I am very interested. I have been in the restoration industry for 20 years, lots of products in the mold industry that are coming out just doesn't work. Multiple companies have been working on the enzyme theory, but with no luck. Please call my cell phone at 630-479-2250. Thank you!

Mold is a dead horse, insurance caps at 5K- if they cover WD at all. I remember when it was good. Fosters and forget about it.

RCC, Mold is still very much alive, I can assure you of that. It's been slowing down a little bit with my carpet cleaning/restoration companies, but our in house remediation crew has been very busy and I've been making at least a batch of chemical a week. Also, I would invite anyone with some Fosters left in their warehouse to try it head to head with Blast-Off and report their results here. Blast-Off has out-performed more expensive products and does so at a lower cost.
