The SFS class can teach you what you want, and open your eyes to many other ideas as well. I just attended in Atlanta in march 2008.
I would say its a very good investment in your future to attend.

If your only after the numbers, then the Training book & program Scott's making available seems to be the way to go.(and he's almost always in a good mood, he's weird that way).

I work as a consultant/ coach with a couple of cleaning/restoration companys as well as plumbing,Restraunts and others. If one of them is running a business in this industry, I HIGHLY recomened it before they spend their HARD EARNED DOLLAR, for me to help. Trust me, this is a very LOW COST way to help you out. Ken's advise is also good, there is nothing that Scott endorses that is not top of the line. You will get the simple accounting and some human resource stuff from Chuck, Marketing from Billy, & Steve, well he's just STEVE, pretty self explanitory if you read some of his posts. Chuck, I haven't seen Scott's financial program. I'm sure it is well done or Scott wouldn't be involved. You can't go wrong analyzing your books. As Chuck Violand, our financial guru for SFS tells every class, "Every number tells a story."

However, even Scott will tell you that a financial modeling program can never replace the five intense days of "business make-over" advice you will receive at Strategies for Success. Simply put, it is the only program of it's type in the industry.

NOTE: Remember, Chuck, that when it comes to education don't fall into the "either-or" trap. You don't have to choose- why not do both?
