I'll participate but I've got a lot to learn to get started. I'm currently doing a lot of night work and daytime projects, so it may take a few days before I feel rested enough to get going.

I really appreciate everyones input and contributions to this group project. I have to agree that my thread title does sound like a post from a sales man. I am considering starting a new thread and would like some input on the title, before I post another thread that really doesn't reflect the true point of building this group.

I was thinking of keeping it simple like "Welcome to our youtube Group" I could use some feed back on this.

I am very pleased with the response as it is a new world for most and it can be scary directing your energy into uncharted territory especially when you need to focus on feeding your family and employee's.

Vloging is much like search engine optimization as it takes time. So I will be working on some post on how you can get a faster return for your investment (time) I stayed up until 5 A.M. so I can make you guys a how to video to help those that have material to work with.

Again Thank you all for seeing the light in this and taking part.

After reading your posts I now believe I need to focus on how those that do not have the equipment (video camera etc.) can get in on the action. I see some are team players even though they are not equipped to make video's yet. I do think they deserve a round of applause for their support.

I have been contacted by a couple of members requesting to pay me to produce videos for them.

I have to admit it makes me feel good that others respect my work so much, however I don't think out sourcing your video production is the best way to go. I believe it defeats the purpose of this type of marketing unless you have a huge bank account.

I am here to share what I know and not to sell. In the future as I learn more and feel I can deliver true top of the line video production I would enjoy doing this for a living just not yet. In the mean time I will be happy to share what I do know.


Here is a tip for those that need help getting video's

You may want to try to place an ad on craigslist looking to barter for a video production. Be sure to ask for examples of work before you commit to an agreement or you may be sorry. Try to get at least a couple of videos out of the deal just in case one doesn't meet your expectations. Don't expect perfection as many of my video's never make it to youtube as I am somewhat picky.

Or get help from a family member or friend.

Here is a tip to get a faster return on your video.

Yesterday I did this video below of a cleaning job for a Realtor in Chicago. He was ecstatic about the results. Tomorrow I will be sending him a link of it requesting that he shares it with his friends. It is much better than waiting for him to mention our company in casual conversations and really shows who we are and how we can help his clients. I am sure this will get immediate results as it has in the past.
