    Steam/vapor cleaners for house cleaning?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys out there use small steam/vapor cleaners for every day cleaning? I have been thinking about buying one of the Home Depot steamers but would like to know all of your thoughts?

The steamer will be mostly for blinds, ovens, and fridges....as these are the things that seem to take us the longest!! Just taking a stab in the dark here LOL!

I haven't, However my real close friend bought one from one of them late night home shopping networks. He said it really puts out the steam, said it looks like a 3 foot jet of steam, but only last about 20 minutes and have to refill it. He likes it though.

Thanks Dan, I think I will give it a shot. For $100 it's worth the gamble, we will see?

IF IT IS FOR SMALL JOBS / A HOME DEPOT / BED BATH & BEDYOND I THINK THEY HAVE BETTER ONES

OFCOURSE IT WILL HELP YOU A LOT / YOU CAN HAVE A TOWEL, SPRAY IN THE TOWEL YOUR CLEANER / AND WITH ONE HAND HAVE THE STEAM GUN AND ON THE OTHER YOUR TOWEL READY TO CLEAN. YOU WILL HAVE MORE CLEANING POWER LIKE THIS

I USE MINE FOR INTERIOR CAR DETAILING / IT REALLY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

I LIKE HOW SIMPLE GREEN WORKS AS A MULTI PURPOUSE CLEANER COMBINED WITH YOUR STEAM MACHINE

TRY HARBOR TOOLS ALSO / THEY HAVE ONE FOR LIKE $100DLS / REALLY SIMILAR TO H-DEPOT TYPE

ONOTHER TIP / ON KITHCENS WITH STAINLESS STEEL / YOU CAN USE VINEGAR DILUTED 4 TO 1
    TO LEAVE A NICE FINISH

Hey Kleenz, how much did you Pay for it? Why do you say is not all that, it doesn't give you that much steam? I want to get me a new one, I have a big job in a couple of weeks, and for sure I need one. Mine got broken.

oR If you know a place where I can order one, Or recommend me one better!!

Re: Steam/vapor cleaners for house cleaning?

I have been using them for over 21 years and they have a definite place. I have posted several videos on the boards here and if you check my profile I have a video on there that shows it with use in upholstery care.

If you do a search it may come up with some of the others.

Yes,I use them in daily household related cleaning issues and I am pretty satisfied with the output that I get from them. They possess easier handling then most of the other cleaning equipments.I prefer to use steam cleaner for my home cleaning as they kills mites, bacterias and virus's too.
